THE DOOMED (The Infected)
The doomed are what the world calls the infected humans. They're called this because the lack of a cure - or the lack of any kind of medicine that can help either stop or slow down the process. They're called the doomed because once infected, there's no chance of being cured.
There are no official leaders here.
THE WANDERERS (The Survivors)
The wanderers are those who don't belong to a specific 'group'. This doesn't by any means mean that they travel alone. They can travel in both large and small groups, but they generally don't belong to a faction. They can still live within a community, but haven't necessarily become part of it.

THE AXIOS (The City Dwellers)
These are the group of people who live within the City (Axios). These people are mainly in charge of various business (such as bars/clubs, car rental, various shops, etc) and the city contain shelter and various materials and supplies. These people are generally fun-loving and enjoy their parties and booze way too much. This group is the closest thing anyone can come to a 'modern society'.
The Axios are lead by a council of four members:

Charles Dawson (NPC)
THE CERES (The Farmers)
The farmers generally enjoy hard work and staying out in the sun. These people are in charge of most of the food supplies and trading. This group mainly live in tents, lavvos and shacks, although, some of them live within the city. The Ceres are a generally peaceful group who stay mostly to themselves and even more importantly, try to stay out of politics and war.

THE OREIOS (The Mountain People)
The Oreios dwell around, on and inside the mountains. They are in charge of most of the water supplies, which they use for trading and spend a lot of their time hunting and mining. Like the farmers, they stay mostly out of politics and war and tend to stick to their own kind of people. Many of the Oreios' feel safer sticking to the mountains and hiding around there.

THE BAST (The Desert People)
The Bast are mainly in charge of general crowd control and scouting. They're often referred to as the militia or protection around the Scorch. They are often mistaken for the Furrina, as many of them are often caught stealing and looting. They're generally feared and aggressive, claiming they do so for the general population's safety.

THE FURRINA (The lawless/bandits)
The Furrina are essentially wanderers who have grouped up. They're the ones referred to as the lawless. They steal and kill and generally have very little respect towards others, their work or their belongings. They do as they please and pay little mind to politics or rules.
