Selina grinned as she looked at all the gorgeous fresh vegetables brought in from the Farms. God, she could just stare at these greens forever. Taking such delight in mere vegetables may have seemed strange, but she hadn't grown up with the luxury of having such a bounty at her fingertips. Selina treasured almost every meal she ate nowadays. She spent way too long just going back and forth from vendor to vendor, trying to decide what to buy.
There were a few who knew her by name since she came here so often and since she was always so talkative with them... and because of her peculiar habits due to her fascination, but what could she say? She loved food. Cooking for herself was one of the things she took delight in when she had the energy for it. Selina finally made her purchases after befriending a few more vendors and waving goodbye to the one she'd bought her last lettuce head from.
Selina was practically skipping back to town, but not quite. This was one of the few days when she allowed herself to blatantly ignore all of the bullshit around her and just be oblivious... though not quite oblivious enough to let down her guard or to not take notice of every passing stranger who looked to be a potential threat. Still, she was smiling and her stride was energetic.
After dropping her vegetables off at home, Selina walked through the town, finally sitting down next to a stranger as she took a long swig of water, her throat dry from the heat, "Such a lovely day isn't it?" she asked with a contented smile as she leaned back and sighed, not caring if the stranger was actually bothered by her presence or not. She always loved watching the bustle of the market place.
